Hello! I am Laney Fong.
Based in San Francisco Bay Area
I am a Product and Visual Designer (extremely) passionate about designing inclusively. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Cognitive Science and am currently pursuing a M.S. in HCI at UCSC. I have past experience designing end-to-end through my past internships and contract work.

Background
Raised in the Bay Area (Fremont!), I was always surrounded by tech innovation. My journey began with the simple astonishment of seeing the first smartphone, a moment that sparked a lifelong question: How do we truly process and interact with these devices? That curiosity fuels my work as a Product & Visual Designer.
Outside of design (some other passions)
I like to cook, gym, hike, travel, try new foods, hang out with my dog, and play video games. Fun fact, I am Yelp Elite ⭐️.

Inclusive
Design with empathy and equity, building accessible experiences that serve all users without bias.
Meaningful
Design should be built with intention and each decision should be backed up.
Simplicity
Simplicity is key for every design. We want experiences to be easy.
